A medical study was carried out on an extensive list of conditions that people might go and seek spinal manipulation for from a Chiropractor or an Osteopath. The aim of the study was to find out whether spinal manipulation was effective. It was called the Effectiveness of manual therapies: the UK evidence report, commonly referred to as the “Brontfort Report”.
Here are some of the conditions in that report where they state that spinal manipulation is effective and has a positive effect, and which we treat at our Bournemouth Chiropractic Clinic.
Acute and Chronic Low Back Pain – spinal manipulation and mobilisation
Acute Neck Pain – Thoracic spinal manipulation/mobilisation
Chronic Neck Pain – spinal manipulation/mobilisation with exercises
Migraine – spinal manipulation
Neck Tension headaches – spinal manipulation
Cervicogenic dizziness – mobilisation
Shoulder Girdle Pain and Dysfunction – spinal manipulation/mobilisation
Frozen Shoulder – mobilisation

Sometimes you are unsure of whether seeking chiropractic treatment is right for you and you hesitate because it means spending out money for which you may not enjoy the benefit.
Other times you may be nervous and not sure what sort of treatments we offer or worried that the treatments may hurt you. This is when booking a free spinal check is for you.
You can spend 15 minutes with the Chiropractor and discuss your back or neck pain, or whatever problem you have, and get the chance to meet the Chiropractor and ask questions.
At this session they can demonstrate the likely treatment for you and also confirm whether they can help you or not.
If you decide that Chiropractic treatment is for you then you would need to book another appointment on a different day (unless we have availability) as a New Patient to start the process.
Our commitment to you is to provide you with an excellent package of care. Our mission Is to get you out of pain fast and restore you back to health in the shortest time possible to let you get back to “living”.
